We had breakfast at hotel at 8:30am

Bus stop near Chihkan Tower!

On bus 88 at 10:30 am

Our ride was free because the machine was broken

Turn left at the bus stop >,<

At 10:55 am, we reached the Golden Eternal Palace.

We spent about an hour here.
The bus was not frequent here.
Do keep track of the time to catch the bus.

We got on the bus at 11:45 am

Reached at 11:55 am

We followed the signs nearby.

Our next destination was Anping Fort!

This was our first stop!

While hubby was busy learning the history, I was busy on my own.
lol
Hubby was explaining everything to me.

This was fun.
We were trying to figure out the place and this was a model of it.
It has all the names of the places and when you press on the buttons, it light up.

We spent a long time here.
Well, longer than we had expected.
It was a very hot day.

We finally left at 12:50 pm

We were famished.

We sat down at the nearest eatery and began ordering.

Not to my liking.

We thought the price would be expensive because it was near tourist attractions but it was not.

If there were more room in my stomach, I would ordered another coffin bread!

We walked to Anping Treehouse

We left at 2:45 pm to catch the 3 pm bus

We saw the bus leaving at 2:50 pm
We did not want to wait for an hour so we decided to walk to our next destination!

Anyway, we saw a queue while we were walking so we stopped by.

After having desserts, we continued our journey.
The locals were friendly.
They asked us where we were going and told us where to go.

When we finally reached at 4 pm, we saw the bus!

We were so tired from walking.

Finally here!

Time to relax and wait for sunset

We were leaving by this time because it was too cloudy.

Hubby said we should just leave because we might not be able to see the sunset anyway.

Hubby went to the toilet.

I waited outside.

When he came out, he saw then sunset.

We quickly went back to see the sunset.

Thank you God for making this happen!

It happened really quickly.
It seemed like the sun just fell out of the sky!

We loved the view here.
There were lots of dog around here.
So fun watching all these things.

Time to leave.

We decided to splurge a little to get to our next destination!
We took a taxi.

Chicken wings, chicken skin and bacon rolls

I did not like the food here.
The chicken wings were plain and a little under cooked.
The fried chicken skin were pretty tasteless and the bacon roll was the worst of them all.
I could not swallow it because it was terrible.
The smeel and taste was off.
I spat it out.
