Well, we decided to try this place because it was pretty crowded.

I did not really wanted to go in at first but I was too lazy to think...

Hubby and I looked at the menu outside before ordering.

The egg was not bad but it was not something I would re-order
I love the fish so much more!

This is simple but surprisingly good!
I love this so much!
I have ordered this so many times and still love it!
This does not feel heavy but it is still flavorful.

Ontama Spicy Chicken Katsu Set
RM 18.80

Hubby and I both love this.
The spicy sauce is awesome.
It is not too spicy and the salad is also nice.
Love this as well.
We have ordered this almost every time we are there.

Hello!

I am finally back...

Had been a little quiet and busy recently.

Ok.

Let's talk about food today!

It's been a while since I last visited Station One.

The first thing I noticed is the new menu.

Wow, this looks new...

Yes, that was exactly what I said.

The place is simple and comfortable.

Must order!
I love this... and I used to order this a lot when I was still working in KL.
As of now, I rarely hang out at cafes, so not so much now.

Brings back the memories in Subang...

Rose Bud Tea RM13

This is ok.
I think it will be great when you want to catch up with friends for long hours...
I did not particularly enjoyed this.

Roasted rosemary chicken set RM38++

This is a Christmas set.

It comes with a Mango cream on float (RM10), Raspberry delight and Creamy mushroom soup

I totally fell in love Mango cream on float!
The top layer is coconut.
The middle layer is mango.
The bottom has sago.
I love the combination!
It is slightly chewy because of the sago.
I usually do not enjoy mango but this is simply amazing!

Must have garlic bread with mushroom soup. lol
If you prefer softer garlic bread, you will like this!

Strawberry Slush RM11

I love this as well.
If I have to choose between this and Mango cream on float...
It is very fruity and flavorful...
It's hard to choose but...
I will choose Mango cream on float.

Mini burger

Love that it is bite size.
Taste wise, it's not too shabby.
Hubby thinks this will go well with beer :)

Chicken Parmigiana RM25

I love cheese!
lol
It feels like pizza because of the tomato sauce.
I like the combination of the tomato sauce and black pepper sauce along with the cheese!
I like the potato salad too!

Buffalo's wing RM19

It was not mentioned anywhere that it is spicy.
I was kind of surprised that it was spicy.
Still ok for me but not suitable for those who do not take spicy food.

Baked almond salmon steak (Honey mustard) RM33

Paired up with mashed potato and roasted vegetable
Honey mustard is quite new to us.
Surprisingly, the combination was to our liking.
The almond makes it crunchier.
Oohh, I like the mashed potato even though there is no gravy.

Salted egg yolk seafood fried rice RM16

The rice is fried with salted egg yolk only.
That is the reason why the rice is a little powdery.
Not too salty.
Taste is special.

Last of all, it is time for desserts!

I love this.
It's good!
I think it is cheesy enough...

Blackforest cake

I did not like this as much.
Hmm...
Nothing much to say about this.


Overall experience was not bad.
The place is simple and comfortable.
Food is not bad.
Oh, I love the mango drink!

We discovered this place thanks to Pokemon Go!

We were busy catching pokemons and needed to restock on pokeballs so we were looking for pokestops. We saw this place with three pokestops and there was constant lure modules.

We went there.

This was in July 2016

Obviously we stopped playing after a few weeks.

While catching, we did look around and saw some eateries there.

We decided to give it a try a few days later.

At first when I look at the menu, I think the price is steep.

When the food came. I was shocked.

The portion was super small for pasta.

When we tried the pasta, it was surprisingly delicious.

Well, the price is still reasonable for Western food.

Even though the portion is small, at least it was delicious.

We went back a few times after that but I had been procrastinating to draft this post.

Yes, laziness is an issue.

I still have quite a number of posts to work on... I still haven't done those...

Oh well, here it goes!

Kimchi Fried Rice RM 12

This is really nice.

It smells wonderful.

This is definitely one of the best Kimchi Fried Rice I had tried in ages.

I did not realize there will be meats.

Hmm...

There is more meats than Kimchi!

Oh, hubby is actually pretty strict with the scores...

He rarely give any food 8 or above!

Score: 8.5 (me)

Score: 7.5 (hubby)

Japanese Curry Fish Chop Rice RM 15.90

I think this is ok.

Hubby thinks this is one of the worst dish we had today.

The rice is not Japanese and hubby is particular about that.

The curry is normal. Just like any other places that serves Japanese curry.

Fish chop is ok. The portion is larger than expected.

Score: 6.5 (me)

Score: 6 (hubby)

Fried Tofu RM 10

Hubby love this! I love it!

It is a little crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.

The sauce is great.

The salad is a little too salty.

Score: 8 (me)

Score: 7.5 (hubby)

I did tried many other dishes there but I had forgotten the pictures, so...

I will just mention those that I remember...

Some of the pastas are great. The cheese baked rice is nice (do not choose pasta, rice is so much better). Kimchi soup is pretty nice as well. I think that is all!

We have been eating out a lot recently.

We tried a new place for brunch today.

Time for dim sum!

The place was full almost every time we passed by!

Rice Noodle Roll (Prawn & Barbecue Pork)

豬腸粉 （蝦&叉燒）

This was really good.

It was soft, smooth and flavorful.

It did not have a strange smell to it unlike those we tried else where.

Barbecue Pork Bun

I like the fillings.

The bun itself was a little hard.

Not too bad but it was a little disappointing as it was a signature dish.

Steamed bun with custard and egg yolk filling

RM 6.50

The bun was pretty soft.

It was not salty at all.

It taste a little sweet.

Pretty good!

Sweet and sour tofu skin roll

Hubby said it was normal but I like it.

The staff told us the portion is big but when it came it was small to us.

lol

It was special so we ordered this.

The fillings were just normal.

It had glutinous rice on the bottom.

It was kind of confusing. 

I mean the taste.

To be honest, we were disappointed in this

This is decent.

I did not eat this.

As per hubby and his sister, they had better ones at a cheaper price.

Celery Tofu Bu

The taste of celery was a little overpowering.

I did not enjoy this because I never enjoyed celery anyway.

Hubby and his sister finds it acceptable but not their favorite.

Traditional glutinous rice with chicken

This is average.

We did not enjoy this as much.

We had better ones before.

Pan fried pork soup dumplings (pork)

生煎小籠包 （豬肉）

RM 10.90

I love this one!

The thickness was perfect. The juice did not leak out.

It was so sweet.

I love the filling.

I totally recommend this!

This place is almost always full.
It takes some time for the food to arrive
Service was pretty good.
Will definitely return when I have dim sum cravings!

It seems like I have been eating out a lot recently.

Since we tried out a new place, it is time to blog!

Hubby and I sent our daughter, Jellie the Poodle for spaying.

After that we started looking for food around Mount Austin.

The place is pretty spacious.

It was pretty crowded when I was there...

Char Kway Teow with Lemon Tea

RM 8

The portion is average.

The shrimp was small.

The taste is normal.

Nothing surprising.

Hubby likes this better than the one at Tea Garden.

I actually like this better than the one at Tea Garden better.

Well, everyone have different taste buds. lol

Normal Lemon Tea

Tom Yum Chicken with Kway Teow

RM 7.90

I did not expect anything when I ordered this.

I just suddenly had tom yum cravings.

It was really good.

I like it.

It was spicy and sour.

Very flavorful

The noodle was not plain.

It was totally soaked in the soup which makes every bite flavorful.

There was a lot of junks in there. lol

I mean those things they put in there that I did not like to eat.

There were chillies, onions, garlic and some sort of vegetables 

I like the tomatoes and mushrooms in there.

If there were tofu it will be amazing. 

lol

I love it!

It was a little too spicy for me but I like it that way.

One of the best tom yam I had so far in JB

Chance to revisit this place is high :)

It was raining on 16 April 2016 and we thought steamboat would be great!

I saw this place before but never had a chance to try it.

We ordered a set for 3 pax

It was fine.

Wide range of meat and veggies.

No complain.

We chose the chicken soup and tom yam soup.

The chicken soup was plain.

Tom yam soup was not the best but still acceptable.

It was a little spicy to me. 

lol

The food was not bad.

The veggies were fresh.

At first I thought the portion was not enough for us but I was super full even before we finished halt of it!

We saw that there is a free chrysanthemum tea or ice lemon tea when we like and check in at the place so we did.

We waited for a long time for the ice lemon tea.

Lack of staff.

There was also a promotion in the menu. 

If we tag 3 friends, we can enjoy a 10% discount on the set price (as per the staff).

We did it all but we were told that we cannot get the discount because we had the free drinks.

It was not stated anywhere that these two promotions cannot be redeemed together.

We asked them to bill the drink so we can get the 10% discount.

They did it.

In the end, when we looked at the bill, there was not discount.

They simply waived the service charge.

It is different, it just feels like there was no discount at all.

I love Korean food.

I wanted to try this place for over a week now.

After watching The Jungle Book, we went for lunch (10 April 2016).

The place is quite small in my opinion

We were seated near the entrance.

This is the meat section

There is literally no choice!

It was all pork!

PORK only.

The difference is the sauce on the meat.

Not impressed with this.

This is the salad section... lol

There is not much choice here as well.

The only thing I took was Kimchi

I love the Kimchi.

Love it!

To be very honest, I was disappointed when I saw the range of food available.

There was nothing much.

There were only pork marinated with different sauce.

The amount of pork was very little and they do take a while to refill it.

I guess that they wanted to make sure the meat is fresh but some of the trays were empty for quite some time.

We waited for quite a while for a few items.

Then there was kimchi soup.

There was not enough soup and we waited for maybe half an hour for it to be refilled.

I enjoyed the kimchi soup with ramen more than the pork.

Sadly, the kimchi soup did not impress me as well...

Oh, we even waited for a while for the ramen to be refilled.

There were about 6 tables there including us.

I was there with hubby, who did not enjoy Korean food in general.

The worst part was the range of food.

Hubby dislike pork in general and I brought him to a place where they only serve pork.

lol lol

Finally, desserts!

The chocolate ice cream was the better than the vanilla.

No idea why the vanilla melted so fast.

The bill came up to RM 49.

The price for adult is RM 22

We ordered a green tea which came in a bottle for RM 5

Overall, I think (maybe) I am expecting too much.

Hubby said it is not too bad as it only cost RM 22 for each person.

The place was freaking hot.

Food range was limited.

Refill time was slow.

Food quality is average.

I did not enjoy my meal there.

Chance of revisting this place is 0%

I wanted to like this place but...
