Review: A'pieu Pure Block Natural Sun Cream Spf 45 Pa+++

Tuesday, February11, 2020

It's been a while since my last skincare review.
I have been using this for around six months now.

~BRAND~
A'pieu

~NAME~
Pure Block Natural Sun Cream Spf 45 Pa+++

~PRICE~
USD 7.92 (Style Korean)

~CAPACITY~
50ml

Description
No sticky or shiny finish, this daily sun cream keeps your skin matte and pleasant throughout the day

Directions
At the last step of your skin care routine, apply needed amount and gently pat until fully absorbed. If sun exposure continues reapply every few hours.

Easy to spread

Ingredients
Refer to incidecoder which I love to use now

My thoughts

~PACKAGING~
Simple tube packaging, easy to dispense sunscreen

~SCENT~
The scent is fairly strong...
It has a fresh and light citrus scent
The scent does not linger for long

~TEXTURE~
Creamy gel texture...

~PRODUCT~
I had high hopes for this as I saw great reviews. I love that it is easy to spread. It leaves a slight white cast if I do not take the time to massage it in. This felt so much heavier than my Biore UV Aqua Rich. It does feel oily and slightly tacky after application. I did not really like this maybe because I have combination skin.

Pros
Easy to spread
Light fresh scent
Affordable

Cons

Contains fragrance
Slight white cast
Heavy
Oily and tacky

Repurchase?
No

Recommendation?
I do recommend this sunscreen for those with dry skin.

Simple tube packaging with a small nozzle to dispense sunscreen

~SCENT~
It has a strong typical sunblock scent... I think.

~TEXTURE~
White creamy texture

~PRODUCT~
I bought this because it was pretty cheap. The texture was not my favorite. It is easy to spread but it does leave a white cast. Be sure to spread it out evenly. It feels a little oily when spreading it out but once it sinks into the skin, it is no longer oily or sticky. Been using this for a while and it did not break out my skin. It did not dried out my skin and it makes my skin soft and smooth.

Pros
Easy to spread
Not oily/sticky once absorbed
Skin feels soft and smooth
Not drying
Affordable

Cons
Leaves white cast
Strong scent

Repurchase?
No, because it contains perfume in the ingredients

Recommendation?
I do recommend this sunscreen for those with tight budget

~PRODUCT~
I bought this when I was in Hong Kong. I love the texture after trying the sample and bought it without a second thought! I love that it is easy to spread, does not leave a white cast and it is not oily or sticky in any way! It is absorbed into the skin almost instantly. My skin feels soft and smooth. I did not experience any breakout so far. It did not make my skin dry which is good but my skin did not feel hydrated.

I am not sure whether it is my problem or the sunscreen's. After using for a few weeks, I notice that it did not work as well under my makeup. It flakes and I hate it. It is fine when I use it on my body. I guess I will continue using this on my body.

Pros
Easy to spread
Does not leave white cast
Not oily/sticky
Skin feels soft and smooth
Not drying
Absorption rate is almost instant
Affordable

Cons
Did not work well under makeup and it flakes
Strong scent

Repurchase?
No way!

Recommendation?
I do not recommend this sunscreen under makeup
It is worth a try for the body, at least :)

Review: Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Water Base SPF 50+ PA+++

Thursday, November 12, 2015

I hate sunscreens!
I used to hate sunscreens because of the oiliness, stickiness and white casts!
One day, I came across a video on YouTube which changed my mind.
I saw Melodee Morita's video where she featured a sunscreen.
The texture of the sunscreen was different from those that I had tried previously (my mom's) and I decided this will be the first sunscreen that I will buy with my own money! LOL
