Monday, May 1, 2017

~BRAND~
Innisfree

~NAME~
It's Real Rice Mask

~PRICE~
HKD 7

~CAPACITY~
20ml in each sachet

Description
Infused with the blend of herb complex water and ingredients from nature, this real mask adds vitality and energy to your skin

Directions
After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture
Leave on for 10-20 minutes

Ingredients

My thoughts

~PACKAGING~
Simple packaging.

~SCENT~
It has a typical sheet mask kind of scent... lol
Not light but not too strong >,<

~TEXTURE~
The mask is of a thin cotton material.
There is no pearl paper and it tears pretty easily

~PRODUCT~
The sheet mask fits my face awkwardly... lol. The essence is white gel but not runny. The essence is not as much as the other masks I used before but it is not dry. My face was oily and tacky after removing the mask. I waited a little but it did not sink into my skin so I decided to rinse it off. It is pretty hydrating for my dry skin and it makes my skin soft, smooth and plump. I think it did brighten my skin a little. Pretty satisfied with the results!

Pros
Makes skin softer, smoother and plumper
Decent hydration
Brighten skin a little

Cons
Sheet mask tears quite easily
Left face sticky and oily

Repurchase?
Maybe.

Recommendation?
It is pretty good but it is not my holy grail sheet mask

Review: Innisfree Wine Peeling Jelly Softener

Saturday, October 31, 2015

Hello everyone :)

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you would know that I am totally obsessed with skincare products!
I love Innisfree... even before I tried their products... lol

I bought this during my trip to Hong Kong
If you have not seen my post on Hong Kong trip and skincare hauls, do check them out!

~BRAND~
Innisfree

~NAME~
Wine Peeling Jelly Softener

~PRICE~
RM 33

~CAPACITY~
180ml

This is so cool!
The English descriptions are hidden under the Korean descriptions!
I saw this on a blog ^,^

Description
This hypoallergenic hydrating peeling softener creates a clear and smooth jelly-like skim at it exfoliates dead skin cells and provides moisture with wine

Directions
After cleansing, pour appropriate amount onto cotton pad and gently sweep over entire face avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm water or refine with toner when dead skin cells star to peel off with natural cellulose.

There is a seal to prevent spillage.
It is not good when you get a slimy, sticky and messy product!

The hole is quite big and it is a little hard to control the amount of product dispensed...

The peeling jelly softener is gel-like

The dead skin cells... probably :)

Ingredients

My thoughts
I am secretly hoping that this product can replace my favorite exfoliator, Cure Natural Aqua Gel!

~PACKAGING~
The packaging is simple and sturdy.
I actually hoped that it comes in a pump packaging so it is easier to control the amount dispensed.

~SCENT~
The scent is strong for me.
It smells really sweet. It did not smell like red wine at all.
It did not even smells like grape to me...
It did smell like an extremely sweet candy with a faint grape scent (almost cannot smell the grape)
Somehow the scent disturbs me because it lingers on my skin for quite some time

~TEXTURE~
It is gel-like and is white in colour.
It is very easy to spread

~PRODUCT~
The product is gentle in my opinion. It left my skin softer and smoother every time after I use this! I also think that the rest of my skincare absorbs faster after I use this. I do prefer exfoliator without grainy particles (sugar, beads, etc) because it feels rough on my skin. This works quite well for me.

I really wanted to love this because it is from Innisfree (super bias) and it is affordable but...
I love Cure Natural Aqua Gel because the packaging is better and the scent is light

Pros
Makes skin softer and smoother
Gentle on skin
Affordable

Cons
Strong scent
Difficult to control amount dispensed

Repurchase?
No, I think I will continue my quest to find a cheaper alternative to Cure Natural Aqua Gel (or maybe just repurchase Cure!)

Recommendation?
I will recommend this to those looking for a very affordable peeling gel or those who have never tried peeling gel before...

Review: Innisfree Jeju Sudachi Soothing Mask

Sunday, March 1, 2015

This is the first Innisfree product that I am using!
I am really looking forward to the result!

Description
A soothing mask, formulated with refreshing Jeju Sudachi to deliver instant cooling and calming effects to your fatigue skin

Ingredients
Hopefully it is clear enough

The packaging is simple

Direction
After cleansing and refining skin with toner, gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 10-15 minutes. Use 1-2 times per week.

100ml for HKD69

There is a seal to prevent spillage.
It is actually quite tight.
When it was sealed, it was a little difficult to smell the product.

The jelly has a hint of light green
The texture is super fun... It is like jelly and even if you messed it up, it will return to its original form after some time! Super cool #excited #superfun

The jelly up close

My thoughts
The scent is a little strong but it does not bother me. I like the citrus smell. I bought this because the texture is so fun. It is jelly like and bouncy... lol. It is easy to spread. It feels very refreshing and cooling. My skin is softer and smoother to touch. It also provides decent hydration to my skin (except my forehead). I find it a little difficult to wash off but it is not as painful as Annie's Way Jelly Masks. The result is quite good in my opinion. I actually like this a lot!

I used this again when I had a few red angry looking pimples... Well, the pimples were still red but it did soothed and calmed my skin. At least my pimples were not as angry... lol

Pros
:) Cooling and refreshing
:) Skin is smoother and softer
:) Provides decent hydration
:) I like the scent
:) The texture is so fun
:) It is easy to spread
:) No allergic reaction

Cons
:( Scent maybe a little strong
:( It is a little difficult to wash off

Rating: 4/5
Repurchase: Yes :)
