I am back with another product from Secret Key!

I love the first version of the first essence so I wanted to try all the other ones to see if there are any differences.

My thoughts

I started using this on 19 February 2016

~PACKAGING~

The bottle is simple and sturdy.

It is a huge bottle so it is definitely not travel friendly! 

It is hard to dispense the essence due to its consistency.

~SCENT~

It  has a very strong perfume scent...
It is a little better than the previous version...

~TEXTURE~

It looks like water in the bottle but it has a thicker consistency... almost gel-like
There is gold flakes in it!

~PRODUCT~

A little of the product is enough for the whole face. It is easy to spread. It is sticky upon application but absorbs almost instantly hence stickiness is minimal.Overall, I think the essence is good. I cannot see results immediately. After two months, I can feel that my skin is more elastic. I think my skin is a little brighter, softer and smoother. It provides great hydration to my (super dry) skin and evens out my complexion. I am not sure if it diminishes wrinkles...

I think this is not as good for those with acne prone skin. I soak a few drops of the essence on the cotton and place it on the pimple. It did not do the magic the previous one had! This is more hydrating that the previous version.

Skin is more elastic, smoother and softer
Evens out complexion

Provides great hydration

Cons

Scent is very strong
The bottle is not travel friendly (heavy)

I would love to repurchase this but it contains alcohol and fragrance



Recommendation
I do recommend this to those with dry skin as it is a great product
This is not suitable for those who are conscious about the ingredients in skincare

My thoughts
I hope this will not disappoint me because I just love the Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence and Secret Key 24K Gold Premium First Essence!

~PACKAGING~
Simple





~SCENT~
It has a light scent with a hint of alcohol
It does not have the same scent as Starting Treatment Essence





~TEXTURE~
The mask is quite thin but thicker than Lovemore's sheet masks. The texture is a little different because it feels more like a piece of cloth than paper if that makes sense. LOL. It does not tears easily.





~PRODUCT~
The sheet mask has a terrible fitting. TERRIBLE! It did not fit my face except for my forehead. I was a little worried when I felt a slight tingling sensation near my cheeks. The essence is clear and very runny. No allergic reaction after use. After removing the sheet mask, my face was not sticky at all. It is very moisturizing for my dry skin and it makes my skin super soft and smooth. It provides great hydration! It did not further irritate my skin and the pimples seemed to be calmed! This sheet mask does what it claims and I love it!

Makes skin smoother and softer

Soothe my skin when it was irritated

Zero stickiness
Scent is light

Terrible fitting

I will repurchase this!

Since all the information is in Korean, I get all the details from Secret Key website and Koreadeaprt.

Description

My thoughts

I started using this on 17 April 2015
I bought this because I saw a lot of great reviews on this... and it looks like SKII!!!

It is WAY cheaper so it  is definitely worth to try!

I hope this will be good!

It is a huge bottle so it is definitely not travel friendly! 

It is not too difficult to control the amount of essence poured out.

~SCENT~

It  has a very strong alcohol scent... I hated it at first...

It was way better than SKII (for me)

The scent of SKII makes me feel sick after using it... The scent was... how should I put it?

I feel as though someone had vomited on my face!

I wanted to love SKII but it broke me out after using it for 2 weeks...

I stopped using it immediately!

Luckily, I did not buy this. My sister left it here when she left for Hong Kong. It did amazing things to her skin so I thought this will be good. Sadly, it did not work for my skin.

~TEXTURE~

It feels exactly like water.

~PRODUCT~

It is sticky upon application. It absorbs almost instantly hence stickiness is minimal. I use this right after cleansing my face and before my toner. Overall, I think the essence is good. I cannot see results immediately (I read that some people can see result in one week). After six to eight weeks, I can feel that my skin is more elastic. I think my skin is a little brighter but not obvious. It provides great hydration to my (super dry) skin. My skin is softer and smoother after I started using this. I am not sure if it diminishes wrinkles... I have fine lines around my eye areas... It did not do anything to the fine lines...

I think it is great for acne prone skin. When I feel that a pimple is popping out, I soak a few drops of the essence on the cotton and place it on the pimple. I was quite pleased. The  pimple looks calm. The next day, the pimple did not look red or obvious! After one or two days, the pimple is gone!
