Simple and pink!





~SCENT~
The scent is light!
It reminds me of sour plum





~TEXTURE~
I like thin sheet masks but this one tears so easily when I was trying to adjust the position.





~PRODUCT~
The essence of the sheet mask drips everywhere (except my face) when I took it out. It has a lot of essence! The essence has a clear runny gel like texture. It is absorbed pretty quickly. Minimal stickiness. My skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated. My face appears to be firmer and more moisturized. As for in-depth whitening and smoothing fine lines... I cannot see any effects with one use, I guess.

I think this is a pretty good sheet mask but I will not repurchase.

The scent is light and fresh.

~TEXTURE~

The sheet mask is a little thicker than Near Ocean sheet masks but feels smooth. 

This sheet mask does not tears easily.

~PRODUCT~

The sheet mask fits my face quite well. After removing the mask, I can see a lot of essence on my face... I wipe it off as per the directions. It is a little sticky. It provides great hydration to my skin. My skin is softer and smoother. It soothe my irritated skin (red dry patches near my under eye areas) and it did reduce the redness of the pimples.

a post I thought I had published but it was just sitting (alone in the corner) in my draft

I bought this from sasa.com because it was on promotion (about USD 6). This brand is not new to me. I am also using BeautyMate Natural Care Moisturizing Peeling Gel which I reviewed previously. This is actually my previous cleanser.

This is the packaging, 150 ml (RM 39.90)

I cannot really read Chinese so I took the description from hishop. "Fresh and gentle texture with soft and elastic mousse to cleanse the dirt, helping skin breathe".

My thoughts

The scent is a little too strong for me... I think that the scent is stronger than the peeling gel! Sometimes when I am cleansing my face I feel that I am totally buried under the scent. I feel that it is difficult to breathe (maybe a little exaggerated but it's the truth). The mousse is soft. The cleanser does not leave a tight feeling on my face. I think this is just a so-so product... I cannot really see/feel any difference to be honest.

I am constantly looking for eye masks... so here is another eye mask review. I bought this from sasa.com together with BeautyMate Collagen Smooth Nano Eye Mask (which I have reviewed previously).

Enhances blood circulation, whitening, moisturizing

The eye mask is in a tray filled with essence. The essence is white and thick.

The instruction is to apply the mask for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wipe off remaining essence with a cotton pad. The scent is light. The essence is white and thick. There is a lot of essence on the mask and in the tray. After removing the eye mask, my dark circles were less obvious. My eye area is more hydrated and smooth. Even when I wake up in the morning, my dark circles are still less obvious. This is by far the best eye mask I have tried. By looking at the results, I actually like this eye mask better than BeautyMate Collagen Smooth Nano Eye Mask.

Pros:

:( Since the essence is white it is a little messy

I have repurchased this mask because the first time I used it, it was just amazing. My face is brighter and smoother after applying it for 20 minutes. This is one of the mask that I keep repurchasing.
This is sold at Watsons for less than RM50 for 10 sheets

The packaging is simple

The back of the packaging has the instructions, ingredients etc but it's not clear

Description:

White truffle, aloe, pueraria lobata root and chlorella vulgaris extracts are highly valuable and are ideal for tired, dull skin. They have great antioxidant and anti-aging qualities and can restrict the formation of melanin, and effectively help to keep your skin delicate, elastic, and smooth. This is taken from hermo.my as I had already thrown away the packaging.

Claims:

Deeply whitens, improves skin texture

Suitable for:

all skin types, especially dull and tired skin (yes... this is for me)

Top: The sheet mask is still wet after 20 minutes
Bottom: The pearl paper with small holes

The instruction was to apply the mask for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wipe off remaining essence with a cotton pad. The scent is light. The sheet mask is not too thick and there is a lot of essence. After removing the mask, my face is very smooth and looks brighter. Even when I wake up the next morning, my skin is still soft and smooth. This sheet mask is great for my skin. In my opinion, the sheet mask does what it claims. I love it!

Review: BeautyMate Natural Care Moisturizing Peeling Gel

Today's review will be on BeautyMate's Peeling Gel. I have been using this for three months now. I use it once or twice a week (depends on my mood) after cleansing my face.

The packaging looks nice. I bought it for RM 29.90 for 100ml.

The product is gel like. It is milky/clear coloured. It has a very light flowery scent.

As per instruction, apply on dry face and massage gently until debris is produced. Then rinse it off. My face feels a little tight, after rinsing. I think it is a little drying but it leaves my skin soft and smooth. The product is a little similar to Cure Natural Aqua Gel. The consistency is similar but after massaging, the debris is different. Cure does not have any scent to it.

The gel is thicker and it feels a little sticky

Pros

:) Scent is nice

:) Makes my skin feels smooth and soft

:) I like the packaging

:) Very affordable

Cons

:( The gel left my face a little tight

:( The gel did not brighten my face (as compared to Cure Natural Aqua Gel)

I have really dark circles and eye bag :( so I am always looking for eye masks. I have great confidence in BeautyMate's products so I ordered this eye mask online (sasa.com ^^ one of my favorite website).

Description:

Hyaluronic acid, collagen and natto gum make a strong combination to hydrate and enhance the skin around the eye, making it firm and elastic. Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 500 times of moisture to continually moisturize the skin to minimize fine lines. Collagen rebuilding technology stimulates growth of collagen and helps to protect collagen tissues for firmer, smoother appearance. Natto gum also helps the skin to regain elasticity and eases puffiness.

Claims:

Minimizes fine lines, enhances elasticity, continuous hydration

The eye masks are placed in a tray full of essence. The essence is clear and a little runny.

The instruction is to apply the mask for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wipe off remaining essence with a cotton pad. The scent is light. The thickness of the mask is acceptable and there is a lot of essence. After removing the eye mask, I can feel the difference. My eye are is more hydrated and smooth. The fine lines were a little less obvious. I have no idea about the elasticity enhancement that it claims. The next morning however, my fine lines were back... please don't come back to me... Anyway, I think the effect is kind of temporary. Still, it can be useful for certain ocassions (eg. prewedding photo shoot, wedding dinner, parties)

Pros:

:) Scent is light

:) Affordable

:) Well hydrated

:) No allergic reaction

Cons:

:( Fine lines were a little less obvious temporarily

Rating: 4/5

Repurchase:  Maybe (unless I can find something better which is also affordable)
