Review: The Face Shop Pure Water Facial Mist (Jeju Marine)

My sister gave this to me because her skin reacted kind of badly to this facial mist...

I took it from her and tested on my face straight away...

I should have tested it on my hands or maybe neck first but oh well...

Luckily I am fine *big big smile* just a little tingling...

The facial mist is in a plastic packaging (70ml)

Description
Formulated with pristine waters and Gulfweed extracts of beautiful Jeju Island, this pure water facial mist helps hydrate and rebalance dry skin.

Directions
Use daily, after washing face and whenever a burst of energizing refreshment is desired. Holding the bottle away from your face, close your eyes and mist from forehead to neck in a smooth sweeping motion and let dry. This pure water facial mist can be applied over make up or onto bare skin.

Ingredients
Water, sargassum pallidum extract, butylene glycol, glycerin, alcohol denat, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, octyldodeceth-16, PEG-60, hydrogenated castrol oil, ethylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, disodium edta, parfum(fragrance)

Is it just me... the ingredients list... is it really okay? alcohol and fragrance?? hmmm...

My thoughts
The facial mist is really fresh. It is a little sticky but the stickiness goes away quite fast. Hydration wise is not too bad as well. The scent is not too heavy... and not long lasting... The scent is not the kind I fancy... There is a little tingling effect... so I use it on my body now... The good thing is it is really portable... Not like my Avene Thermal Spring Water (big bottle) which is so not travel friendly...

Directions:

The essence up close

Not sure if you all can see...

It is too runny... 

This is my third attempt...

Most of the essence were on the table already >.<

My table looks very hydrated and lively... lol 

My thoughts:

The mask has a very light fruity scent (star fruit extract). There are plastic films on both sides of the hydro-gel mask. The hydro-gel mask is in two pieces. There was no allergic reaction. My skin was slightly sticky after removing the mask. Hydration is pretty good. Hmmm, how do I know if my skin look more lively? I looked in the mirror but see no difference... Maybe I should laugh?  OK. I feel that there is not much difference after applying the mask. The stickiness took quite some time to wear off.

This is the second time I am using a hydro-gel mask, The first experience was bad. I was allergic to the first hydro-gel mask from Pure Tree. So I am hoping this will work for me.

Provides full hydration to skin

Directions:

Apply mask for 15-20 minutes then remove

I am not sure if you can see but there is quite a lot of essence!

My thoughts:

The mask is of orange scent which is very light. There are plastic films on both sides of the hydro-gel mask. The hydro-gel mask is in two pieces. When I first applied the hydro-gel mask, my skin was a little tingly but luckily there was no allergic reaction. My skin was slightly sticky after removing the mask. I am not so sure about the hydration effect. I feel that there is not much difference after applying the mask. I notice my skin is a little brighter. Just slightly brighter. The stickiness took quite some time to wear off.

The mask is in two piece! This fits my face perfectly as I can adjust accordingly.
