2015 is ending...

It is the time for me to share my favorite products of the year again...

Some of the products were in my 2014 favorites...

1. Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

This is simply amazing! I love it! This is the first product from this brand that did not disappoint me. It did not dry out my skin and left it softer and smoother. My pores were a little smaller and there were less blackheads upon first usage. Even though I love this, the scent is not my cup of tea.

2. Annie's Way Arbutin and Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask

This was in my 2014 Favorites! I love these jelly masks and my favorite one is definitely the Arbutin and Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask! It provides great hydration and brightening effect. It helps in reducing the blackheads as well. I love that the scent is very light. I love this dearly but it is quite difficult to wash off and very time consuming...

3. Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack

I love this because the texture is super fun! That is not the only reason of course! It provides awesome hydration for my super dry skin! This is the savior to my dry, flaky skin! What else can I say? AWESOME! Beware as the scent is quite strong.

4. Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner

This was also one of the products in my 2014 favorites! This is one of the best and most affordable toners I had tried so far! It provides great hydration and my skin loves this! The best part is that it is not sticky at all! It feels light and refreshing and I use this as a toner mask every day... well... when I have the extra time and when I am not lazy... My skin condition improves because of this... Thanks to this toner, my skin is softer, smoother and feels amazing!

5. Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence

This is one of my favorite product this year. I think it is an average product but once I finished this and moved on to another essence, my skin broke out. I think my skin needs this... lol. I use this as a booster and it works great for my skin. It provides excellent hydration to my skin. My skin condition improved after six to eight weeks. It is more elastic, brighter, softer and smoother. This is great as a pimple treatment as well. I soaked the essence on a cotton pad and placed it on the pimples. In one or two days time, the pimples were gone! I love this to the moon and back but it is a little sticky and the scent is terrible!

6. Naruko Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Pore Minimizing & Brightening Essence

This is from one of my favorite brand! After using this essence for two months, I notice that the pores were smaller and the blackheads were under control. The brightening effect is not obvious at all! It provides decent hydration and I love the light fresh barley scent (with a hint of alcohol). It is a little sticky upon application but absorbs into the skin instantly.

7. Konjac Sponge

This is the best cleansing tool I have at the moment... lol. 

It is the bomb!

My skin feels extra clean when I use this. It does not dry out my skin at all!

This is great simply because the blackheads were totally under control and my pores appears to be smaller when I was using this magical sponge!

8. Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask

This is the first hair mask I tried (in my entire life) so I have nothing to compare this with. I simply adore this because it makes my hair super soft and smooth. It is not oily and somehow it reduces the tangles in my hair... My hair is a little more manageable with this awesome mask in my bathroom!

9. Smelly-No-More Natural Crystal Roll On Deodorant Stick

This is one of the product that I cannot live without! Well, I had to make sure that the body odor is under control - when I sweat. I need to use this every day. It is affordable and has no scent to it. This is simply amazing for people like me...

10. Macqueen New York Mineral CC Cushion Cover Plus

The first makeup product in my favorites - a cushion foundation! I like the packaging. White and sleek. It has a very light scent, good coverage, contains SPF and best of all, it does not dry out my skin. This makes my skin looks better and smoother than it actually is. lol. My skin looks almost flawless in pictures when I am using this :)

This is a wonderful cushion foundation for me.

It is a little difficult to get the foundation out at first...but it is totally worth it!

It's been a while since my last post...

Today I am going to share with you my 10 favorite sheet masks which are all very affordable!

I bought most of the sheet masks from Hong Kong and Taiwan
I highly recommend the sheet masks listed below and will definitely repurchase these when my stash is low!

If your friends or family are going to Taiwan or Hong Kong, do check out these masks...
It is extremely difficult to narrow down my favorite sheet masks because I tried out so many brands (and different ranges in the brands) since 2013!

Let's jump right in!
I will start with the cheapest sheet masks first!

1. My Scheming Camellia Japonica Hydrating Mask

It makes my skin softer and smoother, provides great hydration and there is no stickiness.

No allergic reaction of any sort and my skin loves this!

2. My Scheming Grape Seed Instant Brightening Mask

Price: RM 1.98 per piece
Available: iQueen

It makes my skin softer and smoother, provides decent hydration and no stickiness.

It has a light scent that reminds me of the purple vitagen... lol
Brightening effect is not obvious but it is OK for me :)

3. NRK Collagen Booster Firming Mask

Price: RM 2.95 per piece
Available: naruko website

It makes my skin softer, smoother, bouncier and provides decent hydration
It was not sticky.

The scent is not my cup of tea but still bearable.

This mask did not lighten my skin in any way but my major concern is hydration :)

4. Lovemore Japanese Soy Milk Enzyme Moisturizing & Smoothing Mask

Price: RM 2.2 per piece

I love the packaging and somehow I love this brand...
The sheet mask fits my face pretty well
It makes my skin softer and smoother, provides great hydration and minimal stickiness

I did not really enjoy the scent.

5. Lovemore Provence Lavender Nighttime Whitening Mask

Price: RM 2.2 per piece

Available: iQueen

I love the packaging and brand!
It makes my skin softer and smoother, provides great hydration and no stickiness
Whitening effect is not obvious (at all) but it is not my main concern.
The scent is not my favorite but it is light...

6. Near Ocean Sheet Masks Calendula Balancing Sheet Mask

Skin is hydrated, smooth, soft and bouncy after using, no stickiness and fast absorption
Provides great hydration to dry skin and skin looks healthy!

Super love this mask :)

7. Near Ocean Sheet Masks Vitamin C Whitening Sheet Mask

Price: RM 2.5 per piece

Available: International Beauty Expo or Facebook page

It has a fairly light scent. Not something unpleasant. It fits mt face pretty well and there is minimal stickiness. It provides great hydration to my skin and makes my skin a little brighter. I love this as well :)

8. Beautymate Anti-Blemish Repairing Mask

Price: RM 4.5 per piece
Available: Watsons

It has a light and fresh scent!
Provides great hydration to skin, makes skin softer, smoother and soothes irritated skin
The downside is that it is a little sticky and much thicker than Lovemore or Near Ocean sheet masks

9. BeautyMate Refining Smooth Nano Mask

This is the first sheet mask I tried from this brand.
It has a light scent and makes my skin brighter, smoother and moisturized.
I love this because the effect is quite obvious...
I had already repurchased this a few times...

10. Sophie Monk x Little Twin Star Intensive Hydrating 2-Step Mask

Price: RM 4.95 per piece

The packaging is super cute and this comes with a serum!
It has a light refreshing scent.
It provides great hydration to my super dry skin and the effect lasts a few days!
It makes my skin super soft and smooth and it is one of the best hydration mask I had tried!
I love this!

My thoughts

The sheet mask is a little thicker than the ones I normally use (eg. Timeless Truth and BeautyMate) and it does not tear easily. I like the light fruity scent... After removing the mask, my skin was sticky. My face was softer and smoother. It provides decent hydration. No allergic reaction.

My thoughts

The eye mask is very thin and BIG! No joke. It covers the under eye area as well as most of the cheek area. There is a light sweet scent. There is a slight uncomfortable feeling but it is not stinging... Later on I guess it is the cooling feel... lol

It provides decent hydration but did nothing to the fine lines or wrinkles. It is a little sticky but it did not take too long for the essence to absorb. I think this eye mask did not do what it claims - wrinkle-care and brightening.

I kept seeing promotions online and even in stores...

I cannot resist anymore... so... yes... I bought quite a lot this month!

Hopefully this will be the last haul this year... lol

The first place that tempted me to make my purchase was Hermo!

The clearance corner caught my attention so...

Mama, baby sis and I decided to get two items each

I saw quite a lot of good reviews on the brand so I decided to try these.

Sadly, the pump bottle was broken... No big deal!
I transferred it to my other spray bottles.

Then it was Sasa!

I decided to do this because I just wanted to post pictures... LOL

I went through my phone and noticed I did not post a lot of the pictures...

I did not share them on facebook and instagram...

January

Early this year, we went to a new place in Seremban...

This is the name of the restaurant!

I loved the view from up here!

It was so pretty!

We ordered fried long bean with minced meat, marmite chicken, Thai style steam fish, fried squid, fried prawns and braised tofu with vegetables 

It was not cheap and the food was just so-so...

March

Hubby and I went to one of our favorite place for dinner!

As usual, we ordered mushroom soup.

This time we decided to try the pasta and beef.

I love the beef... It was so juicy and tender!

I absolutely love it!

The pasta was delicious!

It was not what I had in mind but the taste was great!

A few days later, we went to one of my favorite place for gyoza!

Ichiban Ramen @ Jusco Tebrau

Of course I had to order something else...

Kimuchi Fried Rice.

These two are my favorite.

I never really enjoyed the ramen there... lol

At around the same time, hubby enjoyed going to Espresso Lab for coffee.

What hubby ordered...
Hubby loved the coffee!
I do not know how to appreciate coffee... lol

The very next day, hubby craved for more coffee so we went back!

Pisang Goreng Cheese

I just have to try everything with cheese in it... or on it!
I think it is not bad but the combination is a little strange... lol

I am totally in love with this!
It has everything I love in it...
Chicken, cheese, sweet corn and mashed potatoes!
Everything I love in a bowl!

I usually avoid KFC just because I am super loyal to McDonalds!
This is a little difficult for me to resist!

I had at least 5 bowls that month alone...
I feel so guilty! I do!
But it is so yummy!

We went back to Subang during one of the weekend and we went to our favorite hang out spot, Sunway Pyramid!

Mainly because the quality was just not as good... lol
We did not want pig innards but it was in our food...

We also ordered for mixed pork... erm... fatty and lean part... lol
We were given the parts that were etremely fatty...
We were scared of it...
I usually love the fatty parts but not ALL!
It is just plain scary... The fats/oil just splash in my mouth... like I was gargling with oil!

Not enjoyable at all...

I used to love this when we were in Kajang...

We chose the location so we could talk and talk and talk non stop... at least 3 hours...
It had been a while since we last met...
I miss them already...

The panna cotta failed... quite badly but the taste is not that bad...

I wanted it tobe crunchy on the outside but I failed.
Somehow we managed to finished it... lol

He loves that there is a little herbal taste to it.

I find it normal... lol. Duck is not really my thing!

After hubby brought me here, I totally changed my mind!

I love the Aiyu jelly here! 

Hubby always orders the Blackball Signature Dessert (RM 7.50)

This time I decided to make my own dessert!

Base - Soya Ice

Toppings - Grass Jelly, Aiyu Jelly, Pudding and Nata de Coco

I like it... Although the taste is a little funny... lol
